Sharing Random Brain Farts Weakens Your Personal Brand

When I studied economics, this is one of the first things I learned:

  • A fall in demand = a fall in price
  • An increase in supply = a fall in price

What does this have to do with personal branding?

You can think of supply as your content. Are you giving yours away freely, or are you giving it with intention?

And by this, I mean are you posting stuff that makes people think who gives a f*ck?

Here’s an example:

When a creator posts content like this — everything else being equal — the “price” of the creator will fall.

I’m not talking BitClout. I’m talking about the creator’s influence. How they’re perceived. The attention they’re given.

People switch off if you keep posting sh*t.

It’s something writers need to be aware of.
