2024 has been heavy for me:

1. My biological dad passed away this summer. I haven’t processed it properly.
2. I broke up with my girlfriend earlier this year. I haven’t processed that, either.
3. My mum’s partner of 20 years (my father figure) was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. I’ve been trying to distract myself with work, but it hasn’t worked.

And I’m in a creative funk.

For these reasons, I’m taking some time away from being online.

I need to be there for my family, and I need to lean on my friends. I feel lost and confused right now and I don’t think I can offer you advice or talk about freelancing.

Work feels pretty empty to me.

This means I’m putting the brakes on all my creative projects right now — including writing on Medium.

However, I don’t want to leave you empty-handed.

That’s why I have one parting gift…
