I launched my first Udemy course on November 14th about how to outsource to a virtual assistant. 12 days later, 32 students have enrolled, gross revenue is $305.13, and it’s ranking at the top of Udemy for my chosen keyword.

A number one ranking was my goal, and I want to make at least $500 a month from it.

I should stress I’ve never made a course before, and I don’t have a big social following. What I do have is an amazing mentor called Louise who has over 40 Udemy courses, making her five-figures passive income every single month. She’s been guiding me on what actions to take and which mistakes to avoid. I also have a wonderfully supportive network I’ve been shaping over the past seven months through my podcast.

With this being said, here are five steps I took to create and launch my Udemy course, with tips from Louise.
